Neuropsychological assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive (i.e., thinking) abilities to determine the effects of some neurological injury or illness (e.g., traumatic brain injury, stroke). The results of this evaluation provide a detailed picture of an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, provides recommendations for addressing weaknesses, and informs future steps such as vocational and educational pursuits.
After the initial testing session, Dr. Temple will meet with you to discuss the results, make recommendations, and provide you with a detailed report. Our practice is also available to provide the guidance and treatment you may need to overcome any weaknesses and accomplish maximal productivity.
